Payment/Usage


☑️ Namane Card Payment/Usage 

- Two types of balances are possible through NAMANE: 'Pay Balance' / ‘Transit Balance'. 

1) Pay Balance : You can pay at brick and mortar stores by insert the IC CHIP. 

2) Transit Balance: You can use public transportation by tag your card.


📝 Key Summary

[1] NAMANE Card is a prepaid card that can be loaded and used without opening a bank account.

[2] Public Transportation + Payment at Online/Brick and Mortar Stores

[3] App push will be sent when paying with pay balance among cards registered in the NAMANE app

[4] Pay Balance/Transit Balances can convert easily between each other



✅ Where to use the Namane card


1️⃣ Paying with Pay Balance

  • Offline Payment: Insert the IC Chip into the credit card reader.
    • You can pay at any offline location, including but not limited to, convenience stores, cafes, restaurants, and PC Rooms.
    • Taxis are also available with IC chip payments.
    • Payment may be restricted in hotels, and mobile POS.
  • Online payment: Pay through the ISP/Paybooc App
    • You must verify your self in the NAMANE App and register the NAMANE Card in the ISP/Paybooc App to use it
      (Only those with Korean or foreign registration numbers can use it)
    •  You can make payments at online stores by selecting ‘Credit/Debit Card’ and then making a payment through the ISP/Paybooc App


2️⃣ Paying with Transit Balance 

  • Tag your card to pay.
  • You can pay for public transportation, such as buses, subways, and trains.
    • Bus: National Bus, Seoul/Jeju City Tour Bus, Airport Shuttle (Incheon International Airport-Seoul/Gyeonggi/Incheon Areas)
    • Subway: National Subways
    • Train: KTX, Saemaeul, Mugunghwa, ITX Youth, Nuriro, etc.
    • Freeway: Nationwide Korea Expressway Corporation Toll Booths, Private Toll Booths (May exclude some roads)
    • Express Bus Terminal: National Express Bus Terminal
  • Convenience Stores
    • CU, StoryWay
  • Affiliated Merchants
    • Merchants with RailPlus Stickers
    •  Mobile Sales Stands on KTX Trains
    • StoryWays in Stations
    • National Railway Station Parking Lots (41 stations including Seoul, Daejeon, Dongdaegu, Gyeongju, Busan, Changwon, Masan, Yeosu Expo)

✅ Notice on NAMANE Card Payments

※ Please sign the back of the card before use.

※ NAMANE Card uses the KB Kookmin Card Payment Network.

※ Use of NAMANE Card is restricted for buses in Jindo, Jeollanam-do, Gunwi/Cheongsong/Yeongyang/Yeongdeok/Bonghwa.

※ NAMANE Card is restricted for use on the Gimhae Light Rail.

※ Transportation discounts for the bus cannot be applied on the Gyeongchun Line.

※ In Gimhae, use of the NAMANE Card on the express bus terminal is restricted.
